Working in Virtual Learning Resource Centre & Digital Library, Gulbarga University, Karnataka (www.guglibrary.net) received the prestigious Commonwealth Professional Fellowship 2013 tenable @ The University of East London, United Kingdom from September to December 2013. Earlier received IFLA-ALP fellowship (2007) and worked @ Victoria University, Wellington, New Zealand as a part of this IFLA fellowship.
I belong to Hyderabad Karnataka region of Basavakalyan, professionally qualified, young and dynamic contributed significantly to the Library and Information Science field with innovative services to the user community and research aptitude. I am also instrumental in modernizing the library activities in the Gulbarga University Library particularly the Virtual Learning Resource Centre & Digital Library under the able leadership of Dr R.B. Gaddagimath, University Librarian. Basically a management Post-graduate specialized in Personnel Management; awarded Gold Medals in B.L.I.Sc and M.L.I.Sc, and passed the UGC-NET exam. Served earlier at ETDC (Dept. of Electronics), Hyderabad, and Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Published 90 research papers in Indian and foreign journals, festschrift volumes, and conferences and author of three books. Presented conference papers at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and Karolinska University, Stockholm, Sweden, Waljat College of Applied Sciences, Muscat. Based on my academic credentials, Government of Karnataka, India has awarded Best Librarian (Academic) award during 2010-11.
